Accountmanager

As an account manager at Active Ants, you will proactively contact new customers who have been transferred from the sales department. In your role, you will not be bringing in new customers or selling; the focus is on relationship management. You identify opportunities and know how to convert them into expanded services, lead and/or facilitate contract negotiations, advise customers and then monitor the agreements made. You manage and develop these assigned customers and are a pleasant sparring partner who can communicate at a strategic level. You visit customers on a regular basis, but you mainly work from the office.

  • Taking the lead in building and developing customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Sharing up-to-date forecasts with operations and relevant departments within the organisation.
  • Preparing and conducting periodic strategic business reviews.
  • Independently analysing customer profitability and growth potential and proactively responding to and/or managing this
  • Keeping records
  • Resolving operational issues directly with customers and operational teams
  • Understanding and managing customer contracts and the renewal process
  • Supporting the timely and accurate invoicing process
  • MBO/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in a commercial field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience in logistics and e-commerce is an advantage
  • Knowledge of logistics and sales processes
  • Financial insight
  • Verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English. Other languages such as French and German are an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset and ability to work with numerical data

About Active Ants

Active Ants is een snelgroeiend E-Fulfilment bedrijf met haar hoofdkantoor in Vianen. In onze magazijnen beheren wij de voorraad voor verschillende webwinkels, versturen hun orders en verwerken de retouren. Een groot deel van ons orderproces hebben we gemechaniseerd door middel van ons Autostore opslag- en orderpicking systeem, volautomatische inpakmachines en lopen de goederen via volautomatisch rollerbanden of robots door ons magazijn. Dat maakt onze e-fulfilment dienstverlening duurzaam en vermindert onze footprint.

Wij hebben op dit moment magazijnen in Nederland, België, Duitsland en Engeland en kijken er naar uit om meer landen in Europa te veroveren met ons E-Fulfilment concept.
