Business Development Representative

Vianen, Roosendaal

As a Business Development Representative at Active Ants, you will build new relationships, generate leads and help our sales organisation to grow further. With your proactive and structured approach, you will contribute directly to our mission to lead the future of fulfilment.

As Business Development Representative, you are the linchpin between marketing, sales and our (future) customers. You ensure seamless organisation and maximum lead generation:

  • Actively engaging with prospects and reaching out to contacts to convert them into concrete sales opportunities
  • Using tools to identify and approach prospects
  • Making the initial discussions with prospects before sharing them with the sales team
  • Carrying out targeted mailing campaigns
  • Organising customer and networking events, trade fairs and webinars
  • Generating leads during events and passing them on to sales
  • Accurately registering all the generated leads into the CRM and reporting the results
  • Potentially managing local social media
  • Translating global content into local language (NL)
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a commercial, sales support, or event organisation role
  • Proven experience in lead generation or prospecting
  • Structured, self-motivated and resilient under pressure
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and mailing tools
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic networker with a proactive, can-do mindset
  • Understanding of B2B sales funnels or digital marketing is a plus
  • In our multilingual working environment, fluency in Dutch and English is required to join our team.

Who are we?

Active Ants is a fast-growing e-fulfilment company with its head office in Vianen. In our warehouses, we manage stock for various online shops, dispatch their orders and process returns. We have mechanised a large part of our order process using our Autostore storage and order picking system and fully automatic packing machines, and goods are transported through our warehouse via fully automatic roller conveyors or robots. This makes our e-fulfilment services sustainable and reduces our footprint.

We currently have warehouses in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and England and look forward to conquering more countries in Europe with our E-Fulfilment concept.
