Sales Support employee

Would you like to put your commercial talent to good use and do you get energy from making new contacts? Active Ants is looking for a sales support employee for its locations in Vianen or Roosendaal.

You are the link between potential customers and our sales team: you spot opportunities, build relationships, and make a strong first impression. With your communication skills and proactive approach, you help us grow in the innovative world of e-commerce.

• You actively seek out new and existing relationships and create sales opportunities. Using modern tools, you find leads and approach them personally and purposefully.
• You make initial contact with potential customers, discover their interests and challenges, and ensure a smooth handover to the sales team.
• You will devise and execute creative commercial mailing campaigns to maintain relationships and generate new leads.
• You will help organize customer and networking events, trade shows, and interactive webinars that our (potential) customers will want to attend.
• During events, you will spot opportunities and record contacts so that the sales team can follow up immediately.
• You maintain an overview: you neatly register all leads and actions in the CRM and share results with the team.
• You ensure that our social media channels are buzzing with activity and translate marketing content into Dutch.

You will become part of our marketing team, a close-knit and enthusiastic team of seven marketing and communication professionals. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Dutch commercial team in achieving their growth objectives.

Together, we will ensure that potential customers are introduced to our wide range of fulfillment and logistics solutions, from innovative automation to complete logistics services. You will contribute to strong lead generation and ensure that the sales team always has qualified leads and commercial support at their disposal.

You will work closely with both marketing and sales, making you an indispensable link between the two teams and giving you a direct impact on our commercial results.

    • a salary of up to €3,100 gross based on full-time employment;
    • 27 vacation days
    • travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometer with a maximum of 25 km one way
    • a good pension plan and 8% vacation pay.
  • A temporary one-year contract, with the prospect of permanent employment.• Flexible working hours: 24 to 32 hours with a workplace in Vianen or Roosendaal. After your induction period, you can work from home one day a week. Ideal for a good work-life balance;

• You have completed your education and have at least 1-2 years of experience as a commercial employee (office-based), in sales support or in a B2B environment, or in organizing events, where you have used your networking and communication skills.
• You have commercial drive: you enjoy approaching new customers, spotting opportunities, and generating leads.
• You are skilled with tools such as CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics 365) and mailing tools to maintain relationships.
• You enjoy networking and get energy from building new relationships.
• You have organizational talent and ensure that everything runs smoothly and professionally.
• You have a good command of Dutch and English, both online and face-to-face.

Active Ants is a fast-growing e-fulfillment company with multiple locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and England. In our warehouses, we manage the inventory of various online stores, ship their orders, and process returns. A large part of our order process is mechanized, including the Autostore storage and order picking system, fully automatic packing machines, and a network of robots and conveyor belts.
