Assistant Team Leader Logistics Outbound – (Pick & Pack)

As Assistant Outbound Team Leader, you will support the Team Leader in the daily process of processing outgoing orders for online shops.

You will be responsible for a specific part of the department and will work closely with a team of 35 to 45 employees. In the absence of the Team Leader, you will take over responsibility and ensure that all orders are processed efficiently and accurately. Together with the team, you will contribute to achieving the objectives, while the Team Leader remains ultimately responsible for the entire process.

Tasks:

Supporting the Team Leader in coordinating the daily activities within the department.
Guiding and coaching employees.
Ensuring a good working atmosphere and motivating the team to achieve common goals.
Monitoring priorities within your area of responsibility and supporting process improvements.
Working on the shop floor to maintain a good overview and contribute to the achievement of objectives.

You have an intermediate vocational education (MBO) level of working and thinking.You possess leadership qualities and know how to motivate a team.
No experience in logistics yet? No problem — we’re happy to help you get started.
Experience with automatic order picking and packing systems is a plus, but not required.
You’re comfortable working in shifts.
We operate in a multilingual environment. Fluency in Dutch or English is sufficient to work effectively; speaking both languages is a bonus.

A challenging managerial position within an innovative and fast-growing company.
Workweek: Monday to Friday, including Sunday and occasional Saturday shifts during busy periods.
Working hours: 07:00–16:00, 16:00–01:00, and 23:00–08:00 (subject to consultation).
Salary based on 40 hours per week (part-time negotiable).

Travel allowance of €0.21 per km, even if you cycle to work (up to 25 km one way).
